Festival shows off 38th Avenue and Wheat Ridge's Taste for the Arts

The Dressel-Martins enjoy a craft at the WR2020 tent

Saturday, September 15th , was the first time the Wheat Ridge Taste of the Arts was held on 38th Avenue. The street was closed between Pierce and Wadsworth as 31 artist vendors and 10 food vendors displayed their wares for an estimated 2500 people who strolled the event, watched artistic performances, purchased art and enjoyed the beautiful day.

Wheat Ridge 2020 had a booth attracting families with a kids' craft project and provided information about Wheat Ridge 2020 information. Fifty new general members signed up at the event and Melvin "Paul" Andersen is the winner of the drawing for a $120 gift certificate to the Wheat Ridge restaurant of his choice. Welcome to our new members!
