| New HIP demonstration site purchase at 3950 Kendall St | ||||||
Wheat Ridge 2020 has purchased 3950 Kendall St as a part of our Home Investment Program. Plans to update the house are currently being finalized and will include the addition of a bathroom. The home is located in the current priority area for the Home Investment Program. We will post before pictures and keep you apprised of progress on our website. |

Save the date for membership meeting on July 14

Please mark your calendars for Saturday, July 14, 10:00-11:30am for a Wheat Ridge 2020 Membership Meeting. This meeting will provide important information and updates about the progress of Wheat Ridge 2020 and opportunities to support our efforts. The meeting will take place at the Wheat Ridge Senior/ Community Center. |

High Court property landbanked through effort with the City

The City of Wheat Ridge and Wheat Ridge 2020 are participating in landbanking at 38th Ave and High Court. The City Council approved to transfer the property to WR2020 on May 14th so that WR2020 can solicit the property for redevelopment. |

| Neighborhood Initiatives Summer Program Applications available now

| The 2007 applications for Dumpster Days and Neighborhood Block Party Grants are available at http://www.wheatridge2020.org/initiatives.php Please let your neighbors know these programs are available once again. While applications for Dumpster Days and Block Parties will be accepted from throughout the city, please note that priority is given to the current priority area of Sheridan to Pierce and 32nd Avenue to 44th Avenue. This is the area identified for impact by the Wheat Ridge 2020 Board. Please direct any questions about these programs to the office at 720-259-1030. Please note we are now taking names for those interested in tree-a-thon program for residents located between Sheridan and Teller and 38th and 44th in the City of Wheat Ridge. You can call the office and have Shawne or Denise add you to the list. |
