| More frequent member meetings a part of new meeting policy for WR2020 | ||||||
Recently the Board of WR2020 unanimously approved a new meeting format. The new format is to hold monthly Board working meetings and quarterly Board and Member meetings. There are many reasons for the need of this new format, but the two most important are as follows: 1. Wheat Ridge 2020 is a Private Corporation that deals with confidential information. 2. Currently few members are attending the Board meetings, and the Wheat Ridge 2020 Board felt that the membership deserves greater opportunity to participate in an organized fashion. Therefore the establishment of quarterly meetings with time allotted for member comment and participation will provide all members with an opportunity to come to a Board meeting and participate, hopefully with regularity, 4 times a year. Confidentiality Member Participation The Board of WR2020 hopes that this new meeting format will engage greater member participation and have more members attend the quarterly meetings. The scheduled quarterly Board and Member meeting dates for the next year are: We look forward to your participation. |
